1. Charminar
The Charminar is as much a landmark in Hyderabad as Eiffel Tower is in London or the Red Fort is in Mumbai. Charminar has 45 prayer spaces and a mosque in it. 2. Hussain Sagar Lake
This is the longest manmade lake in Asia. The lake is so famous because it has a monolith of Lord Buddha directly in the center of the lake. It joins the good cites of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It also has water sports and boat rides.

3. Golkonda fort
For the history enthusiasts out there this is a treat. The fort is in ruins as of present but these ruins speak the tale of the glorious past of this fort. 4. Chowmahalla Palace
This palace is located near laal bazaar and Charminar. This palace is still the property of the son of Nizaam. 5. Taramati Baradari
Located at Ibrahimbagh, on the Osman Sagar (Gandipet) Road, close to Golconda, this baradari has a sprawling 7- acre land with lush greenery. In the background one is able to see the famous Golconda Fort. This baradari hosts many music concerts and social events owing to its vast land coverage.

6. Birla Mandir
This white marble temple can easily be seen on the city skyline owing to its height and the stark marble exterior. This is the temple of Lord Venkateshwara and is situated on kala pahad. The serenity the marble complex provides the place is incomparable.

7. Mecca Masjid

This masjid is the oldest and the largest masjid of India. The mosque gets its name because of the arch in the Centre that was built from bricks made out of the holy soil of Mecca on the orders of Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.
